but is there any other alternatives or old natural remedies to help my hair grow longer and healthier?
thanks

Stephen answers:
okay well this recipe is all natural i used that grew my hair 2inch in 3 months
Itemss:(which can be found at any healthfood store)
-Jojoba oil 1/2 cup or more for longer hair
-Essentail Peppermint oil 15-20 drops
-Essentail Rosemary oil 10-15 drops
-Essentail Lavender oil 5-10 drops
mixx together in a microwave able bowl, and put in the microwave for 15-20 seconds…DO NOT make it to hot just warm
BEFORE you wash your hair, apply the oils to scalp and and hair ends
then wrap a warm towel around your hair and leave on for 30minutes or more
this is really good if you have dry hair

David asks…
Does anyone know natural home remedies for asthma?
My husband has asthma and uses inhalers and the breathing machine everyday, but we are wanting to find natural remedies that we can do at home. We would really like to not have to go to the doctor and use medicines. So if there is anyone out there who knows any remedies that really work that you or someone you know has tried please let us know. We would appreciate it.

Stephen answers:
Asthma is not something that can be treated with remedies, as it is not a temporary but a permanent condition. You can take an aspirin as a remedy for a headache, because most headaches are only temporary, so you can dull the pain until the headache goes away on its own. Asthma is not like that.
The best advice is to consult a naturopath, who can find out what is irritating your husband’s lungs and making them spasm. This can be something as simple as house-dust mite or a food intolerance, or it could be more complex, involving poor digestion and an imbalance of gut flora which needs quite intensive investigation and treatment that is not provided by conventional doctors.
Magnesium deficiency is also common in asthmatics.
Wishing you success with improving your husband’s health.

Charles asks…
Is there any “Natural Remedies” for removing Gallstones that do NOT include Olive Oil?
All the natural remedies for gallstones I have come across include this huge amount of olive oil – which I believe is what you are actually passing, along with a bunch of bile. I would like to find a remedy that doesn’t include the Olive oil for control purposes.
If anyone has a plan or website for this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Stephen answers:
I don’t think it exsists. lots of hype with no real results. Even the olive oil sounds like BS.
A gallstone surgery is a same day affair with hardly any incisions to speak of and a quick recovery.

Susan asks…
Are there any natural remedies for Cat flu? Do they always need to be put on antibiotics?
My foster cat and her kittens have cat flu and I took them to the vet this morning. I notice that my cat who has been seperated (is vaccinated) from them is now showing symptons and feeling quite sorry for herself. Are there any natural remedies that work? Do cats always require antibiotics or do they sometimes get over it themselves? Thanks

Stephen answers:
Antibiotics prevent the cat from getting secondary bacterial pneumonia. That’s why vets will give them to cats with upper respiratory infections, even viral ones, every time.
Good luck to you.

Natural Remedies to help with a Fungal Infection to the ears of a dog?
My Rottweiler has a Fungal Infection in her ear and is starting to get it in her other. Is there any natural Remedies to help treat and cure this??
Any info as to why she got this in the first place?

Stephen answers:
Don’t know if you’d call this “natural” but it sure does work:
BLUE POWER EAR SOLUTION
INGREDIENTS:
16 Oz. Isopropyl Alcohol
4 Tablespoons Boric Acid Powder
16 Drops Gentian Violet Solution 1%
Mix together in alcohol bottle and shake well.
You will also need to shake solution every time you use it to disperse the Boric Acid Powder.
TREATMENT: Evaluate condition of ears before treating and if very inflamed and sore do not attempt to pull hair or clean out ear at all.
Wait until inflammation has subsided which will be about 2 days.
Shake the bottle each time before using.
Put cotton balls or similiar absorbent material under the ear.
Flood the ear with solution, (gently squirt bottle), massage gently to the count of 60, wipe with a tissue.
Flood again on first treatment, wipe with a tissue, and leave alone without massage.
The dog will shake out the excess which can be wiped with a tissue, cotton ball, etc as the Gentian Violet does stain fabrics.
The SCHEDULE of treatment is as follows:
Treat 2x per day for the first week to two weeks depending upon severity of ears
Treat 1x per day for the next 1-2 weeks
Treat 1x per month (or even less frequently, depending on the dog)
All of these ingredients should be available at a pharmacy.
The Boric Acid Powder soothes the ear.
The Gentian Violet Solution is an anti-infection agent.
The solution appears to work well on any and all ear problems from mites to wax to canker.
After the 2nd or 3rd day you can clean out the ear with a Q-tip or cotton balls.
The success rate for this treatment is 95-99%.
If an infection seems to be remaining in the treated ear after the above course of treatment, you may also have some Pseudomonas bacteria in the site.
This can be eradicated by using a gentle flush of raw apple cider vinegar and wateR(warm)
Use 2 Tablespoons of vinegar to one cup of water, 2 x per week.
They have found the Blue Powder Solution to be effective for treating fungus-type infections on the feet and elsewhere on the dog, for cuts on dogs or people, and for hot spots.
Remember it is for external use only ..so be careful not to get into the eyes.
